Konkona Sen Sharma will play a Bengali writer and left-wing activist in her forthcoming English movie The President Is Coming. It will be directed by Kunaal Roy Kapoor. The movie is based on a book of the same name written by Anuvab Pal that tracks the visit of US President George W Bush to India. The book was also made into a stage play which earned appreciation from the audience.

Konkona will be a part of a ten people group who protest all the wrongs been done by the American President. This will incidentally be the second Bollywood movie in which George W Bush will be involved after his lookalike Brent Mendenhall appeared on Mission Istaanbul.
